The Chronic 2001 was Dr. Dre's "second wind". He never left the hiphop arena, but he certainly reminded people that he can still bring the noise and the funk. Aided by Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Nate Dawg, and a whole slew of other artists; he produced one of the best hiphop albums in existence. Catch the show tonight at 9pm
The 77th episode of the show was a rewind into the past, back to episode number 31 featuring Kyuss. One of the band members went on to help found another awesome band, Queens of the Stone Age. Check out the show each Friday at 9pm CST for more bitchin tunes.
It's Halloween Hootenanny time! Join Clark Wayne Monday night to hear the spookiest of songs! Don't miss it!
*Spookfest begins at 7pm CST and ends with the mutant stylings of Diamond Dave of The Mutant Hours.*
In honor of Jack, the Pumpkin King, I'm playing "Nightmare Revisited". A selection of ghoulish tunes from the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas. Enjoy these awesomely re-imagined tracks.
The 75th episode of the show featured Jaymay's album "TTTT". Jaymay is the altar ego of Jamie Seerman. She grew up in Long Island, NY and has released many albums over the years, but this is one of my favorites. Click here for more info on where to purchase her music.
The 74th episode of the show featured Slothrust's "The Pact". I recently discovered this group by surfing the interwebs (as per usual). This Boston group mixes heavy, but lighthearted tracks like "Planetarium" and more serious faire like "Walk Away". Click here for more info on touring and to purchase their music.
The 73rd episode of the show featured Rammstein's "Live Aus Berlin". Recorded live in uh...ya know..Berlin. These guys are on my bucketlist of concerts to go to. And they're damn near the top. I mean, have you seen videos of these guys performing live?!?!
The 72nd episode of the show featured the band 311's "Grassroots". A pivotal album in my musical journey. Tune in and rock out every week.
The 71st episode of the show featured the band A Tribe Called Quest's "The Anthology". Stay tuned in for more music awesomeness every week.
The 69th episode of the show featured multiple artists from previous shows, plus "The 69 Boyz". It's hard to believe we've hit 69 episodes. Stay tuned in for more music awesomeness every week.
Welcome to the 46th episode of The Clark Wayne Show. Tonight I'm playing a Hattiesburg local band named "The Squirms". Specifically, their album Riff Randell. I would classify them as alternative, but listen for yourself below. They are currently working on their latest album, and I'm looking forward to playing it.
Welcome to the 42nd episode of The Clark Wayne Show. I'm switching it up a little bit by playing a local band named "Die With Nature". I came across these guys in the usual way; a suggestion from a friend. Color me impressed. If you like these guys like I think you will, you're going to want the link below.
